Sub-Processor List

A "sub-processor" is a third-party service provider that processes personal information on behalf of Earth Movers Network Inc., operating as 'DirtLink' ("we," "us," "our") in the course of operating DirtLink. This document lists the sub-processors we currently use and is referenced in our Privacy Policy.

1. Current sub-processors

2. How we vet sub-processors

Before engaging a sub-processor, we evaluate:

  • Their information security practices (encryption, access controls, breach history).
  • Their compliance posture (PIPEDA-equivalent protections, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 where applicable).
  • Their data processing terms and ability to support our obligations under PIPEDA, PIPA, and CASL.
  • Their location and any cross-border data transfer implications.

3. International transfers

Some sub-processors operate outside Canada (primarily in the United States). By using DirtLink, you consent to your information being processed in those jurisdictions, subject to the protections described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Notification of changes

We will update this list when we add, remove, or change sub-processors. For material additions of sub-processors that handle personal information:

  • We will publish the update at dirtlink.ca/sub-processors at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
  • We will notify enterprise customers under written agreement by email at the same time.
  • You may object to a new sub-processor by contacting privacy@dirtlink.ca. If we cannot accommodate your objection, you may cancel your subscription as your remedy.

5. Customer-specific sub-processors

Enterprise customers may, under a written agreement, use additional integrations or features that involve sub-processors not listed here. Those sub-processors are disclosed in the relevant agreement.
